It was never in the plans to start a business. I always thought I would finish school and jump right into corporate America, that is until 2020 and COVID-19 hit and changed everyone’s reality.

I had just completed my undergraduate at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and had been furloughed from my part-time job at the YMCA when I decided to take up jewelry making. I told myself it was a hobby to fill the days and satisfy my need to create. I have always found joy in building, even as a young girl I preferred helping with home projects over cleaning. There has always been a fascination in seeing intangible ideas be brought to life. The ability to take a slab of clay and transform it into a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art still blows my mind. Even when the process gets tedious or tiring, creating is a never ending journey filled with highs and lows that pulls me back every time.

What started as a way to pass the time quickly blossomed into a passion for creating unique, handmade jewelry pieces that serve as an outlet for individuality and self-love. At Taj Collective Co., each piece is meticulously designed and crafted with love and attention to detail. We believe in the power of creativity and the importance of self-expression. Our pieces aren’t just accessories but a celebration of the beauty that comes from embracing one’s own unique journey.

Join us on this adventure and let Taj Collective Co. turn ordinary into extraordinary.

It’s 2020, and the entire world has shut down.
